Thank you, I really like listening and reading material by John Piper. His book Battling Unbelief is what shook how I thought about my relationship with Jesus. The thing is, Jesus didn't just save us from the penalty of sin. Jesus saves us from sin itself. However, the battle may sometimes be difficult since our spirits are willing but the flesh is weak. Something he said in his book that has helped me is that we have to do more than pursue righteousness, we must learn to prefer it. I'll definitely check his blog out. Awesome!
